Sun

Glaring
It eyes me
I cannot hide
Exposed
My secrets are bared
Pins me down under its rays
Judgment isn’t the only thing that burns
Scathing is it ridicule
The sun glowers from its throne
I am another ant to be roasted
Scurry, scurry searching
For a crack to slip into
I want to hide
Shivering
Secrets uncovered
Glaring down
With rays prying you open
I curl up, covering eyes
Wishing for darkness
Away from the sun
