Argument
The argument was reborn into regret
They sit there alone across from each other
Their love had clearly mutated beyond repair
And now they are just sitting
Pondering an escape route
Untangling their I love yous so they lay unraveled
Pooling at feet, and the tears accenting emotions
When pain is replacing happiness
They knew this relationship was incompetent
A couple reincarnated as two individuals
Caught in an awkward moment
Where words and emotions collide
Leaving what once was so beautiful
To mutate into a bitter moment
The clock runs down
They are alone sitting across from each other
